Governing Board

Xavier González del Valle Director

Holds a master’s degree in Journalism and Advertising, 5 years of experience at advertising agencies (Madrid and Paris) and 17 years of experience at organizations for international education (Paris and Brussels). Xavier has compiled an international profile which combines knowledge in marketing and advertising combined with experience pertaining to the management of educational organizations. Xavier is currently located in Paris, France, and specializes in educational project management. Languages spoken: French, Spanish, English, Russian.

Gerald Honigsblum

Holds a PhD, with more than 30 years of experience in the field of education (Chicago, Boston, Moscow, Nantes, Paris). He is a specialist in language, literature and French civilization. He is also editor of a book series and author of many publications and reference works. Gerald is a Knight of the Academic Palms and he currently resides in Paris, France. Languages spoken: French, English, Spanish, Russian, Polish.

Philippe Bou

Holds a degree in Business Administration from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Montpellier and a degree in Finance from the Sorbonne. Today, Phillipe is Financial Controller for a major pharmaceutical corporation, after 10 years of experience in auditing and financial control internationally. Languages spoken: French, English, Spanish.

Christopher Tarlton

Holds a master’s degree in European marketing and languages, 10 years of experience in the multi-media sector developing technological solutions for the Internet. Chris is a professional whose origins can be traced to the Socrates & Youth Technical Assistance Office of the European Commission as a programmer for Internet solutions. He then moved to the private sector and created a multi-lingual press center for an imaging company in Belgium. Chris is currently located in Madrid, Spain, specializes in Internet systems and management, and works for various companies and organizations such as Telefónica, Sony, Citroen and for the British government. Languages spoken: French, Spanish, English.

Oscar Head of Customer Service

Holds a degree in International Customer Service (MICS) from the prestigious Aqualand University based in Vanuatu Island (South Pacific). Extensive experience such as tour coordinator of young student salmons in North America, tourist guide in the Indian Ocean coral reefs. Oscar has doubled a well-known red fish in a famous American cartoon and he has also played second roles in other films such as “Jaws” and “The Little Mermaid”. Languages spoken: French, English, Bubbles.

Alexandra Malinowski Project Manager

Holds a degree in marketing and communication from the ESGCI, an International School of Business in Paris. Several experiences at the INSEAD communication department, eleven months at the International Office of Paris Graduate School of Management, former participant of the Aquarius' program "Jobs in Ireland". Languages spoken: French, English, Spanish.

Ramla Marchal Project Manager

Holds a master's degree in Applied Foreign Languages from the University of Provence. Experience as receptionist in 5 stars hotel in Barcelona and as Assistant project manager in social and educational field in Marseilles. She has studied one year at the University of Granada. Languages spoken: French, English, Spanish.

Jesus Eduardo Marin Assistant Project Manager

Graduated in accountancy, and currently student of Master in Finance in EGADE Business School and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, experience as an auditor, accountant and researcher in Mexico and Spain, profile based on innovation and continuous improvement of business and process. Currently living in Paris. Languages: French, English and Spanish.

Julie Poirot Project Manager

Holds a Degree in Sales Management and she is currently taking courses in Accounts Management. Previously, Julie worked as a Sales Assistant at Orange France Télécom for two years. Languages: French, English.

Marian Grossklaus Multimedia Specialist

Holds a degree in computer science and multi-media from the FHTW in Berlin. He specializes in the administration of networks, data bases and the design of web sites. Marian has seven years of experience in an international educational organization and in various public organizations in New Zealand and Germany. Languages spoken: German, English.
